Jasper County Council on Aging, Inc. operates Senior Centers in Ridgeland, Hardeeville and Robertville. The Senior Centers provide opportunities for our citizens age 60 and above or the spouses of those age 60 and above to enjoy a variety of activities and services. The Agency operates group dining only in Grays and Coosawhatchie.
The Senior Centers offer group dining 5 days a week...serving a variety of menus. The Centers offer a television lounge, internet access, exercise facilities, group activities, Art lessons, craft instruction, educational programs and occasional group trips.
The Council on Aging provides Home Delivered Meals ( meals on wheels) for those who qualify and are unable to attend one of our centers and a homemaker service for those at risk of being placed in a nursing home.
Transportation is provided to and from the Centers for those who need it and transportation for household shopping and essential services is provided to our clients.
The Jasper County Council on Aging, Inc. is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit agency and gladly accepts donations of cash or services. Volunteers are needed and appreciated.
