Jasper County Farmers' Market - Every Saturday, the Farmers' Market front parking lot will be available from 8 a.m. to noon for vendors to set up and sell their items. Vendors should bring their own tables and chairs. There is a $5 vendor fee. Small tents are allowed. Vendors can sell veggies, fruit, or flea market types of items. EBT is honored. Any vendor wanting to sell food needs to contact DHEC at 726-7792 for a permit.

County Council
The Council will be attending the SCAC conference from July 31, 2010 to August 4, 2010.
The August 2, 2010 meeting of the Jasper County Council has been cancelled.
The Jasper County Detention Center Ad Hoc Committee will meet at 6:00 p.m. on August 9, 2010 at the Jasper County Detention Center.
There will be a joint meeting of the County Council, the Hardeeville City Council and the Ridgeland Town Council on August 12, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hardeeville City Hall.
